Are you searching for the perfect color palette for a Spring wedding? You’re in the right place!
There are many details to consider when planning your wedding, and the spring wedding color palette is definitely one that requires considerable thought. The Spring season’s natural beauty of soft pastels gives the perfect opportunity to choose your favorite combo. With plenty of color inspiration – from yellow forsythias and daffodils, pink cherry blossoms, lavender and magnolia, not to mention the multiple shades of blues and greens – you can be sure your wedding day (and photos!) will be breathtaking.
There are many different shades that work perfectly together. We have found some very unique ways to incorporate them into your wedding decor. Let’s jump in and get to finding the right color palette for your special day.
What Is The Theme?
Spring is the perfect season for a wedding with the new blooms popping, longer days, the warmer weather. These color combinations can be used for any theme and style, although understand that some may be better suited for the formality of the event. For instance, are you planning to have a formal Saturday night event or a sweet and casual Sunday afternoon brunch? While all colors will work for the season, they may not be appropriate for the theme.
A formal, modern evening event would look appropriate by adding few bold contrasts and bright colors (purple, turquoise, raspberry, coral). Outdoor garden weddings work with softer shades and pastel colors like soft pinks and powder blues.
Your Dress
Then consider your dress. Do you have a white gown or ivory? Is there any color in it such as a blush or mocha layer, a hint of blue, or perhaps colored florals? A white or ivory wedding dress will work with anything, however, if your dress has color you want to make sure to build around that.
Is your gown plain? The perfect backdrop for your colors to pop!
Does it have intricate lace and/or sparkle? Be sure not to over-do it when choosing your bridal bouquet so you don’t compete with its beautiful details.
Choose A Main Color
An easy way to start is to choose a bright color for your base color (tangerine, denim blue, ivy green, lemon yellow or hot pink) then a few complementary colors and neutral tones to weave in throughout your decor and attire.
Pick Your Palette
We have put our five favorites together here!
1. Blush Pink and Sage Green

Blush pink and sage green is a classic spring wedding color combination. This color palette works so well for a romantic, calm wedding theme. These colors are the perfect blend of the season harkening the budding trees and the new greenery.
By adding in bold shades (like eucalyptus in the flowers and bronze metallic in the table vases) with soft shades of blush and pink, this palette has the true Spring airy feel. You can incorporate these colors into your wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses with blush bouquets, and especially your floral arrangements, table linens, and tablescape incorporating various shades of greenery with pink glass and candles.

2. The Perfect Color Palette For A Spring Wedding: Dusty Blue and Lavender

Dusty blue and lavender are some of the most beautiful spring wedding colors. This dreamy color combo evokes a sense of serenity and tranquility. It works so well for boho brides with outdoor weddings in a rustic barn, or those with a country wedding theme.
The light blues mimic the sky and the lavender offers so many ways to incorporate it, not only the color but the flower itself! You can use these colors in a flower crown, in your favors and table settings using lavender wildflower centerpieces and blue glass.

3. Coral and Peach

When you have a beautiful and crisp dress in a crepe fabric, it is the most beautiful to add bold florals and bright pops of color. A clean backdrop allows the vibrant colors to add to the beauty and not compete with other dress details (such as lace or beading).
Coral and peach are bright and cheerful colors that are perfect for a spring wedding. These shades work well with a beach or garden wedding theme.
Bold pops of coral and soft shades of peach are perfect for this time of year for a celebration of new beginnings. You could add bright pinks and oranges into this as well and incorporate into your wedding flowers, wedding cake colors, or even “peach” or “orange” themed desserts.

4. The Perfect Color Palette For A Spring Wedding: Mint Green and Yellow

Putting together your palette and aesthetic can become really exciting to plan. We love this chic urban micro wedding idea with a sleek, lightweight satin halter dress and some fun cocktails in lemon and lime! Great colors for spring and a perfect match for the aesthetic.

Mint green and yellow are fresh and fun colors and a great choice for a spring wedding. This color palette also works well with a whimsical or cottage core wedding theme. Mint green is a cool shade, and brighter than a warm-toned sage. Pairing it with yellows allows for a brighter pop of color. Spruce is another good color for early spring.

This palette also looks beautiful with gold accent colors which can be used in your wedding invitations and table settings. Don’t forget color-coordinated rain gear to be ready for those April wedding showers!
5. The Perfect Color Palette For A Spring Wedding: Navy Blue and Dusty Rose

Navy blue and dusty rose is a sophisticated and elegant color combination that works well for a formal spring wedding. This palette is perfect for a black-tie optional wedding or a wedding with a classic theme.

Use these colors in your bridal accessories, pretty-in-pink Mother dresses, and even your bridal party attire like navy groomsmen’s suits and blush pink ties.
