Now you’re getting married. It isn’t only about the dress anymore, finding the right tux for the Groom is is a very important part of the wedding planning process! Providing the perfect suit and tuxedo styles for our Grooms is a detail that our team takes great pride in. It is especially exciting if the bride said yes to her wedding dress with us, too!
The Introductory Appointment
About six to nine months before the big day, we have the engaged couple come in for an introductory appointment. This is an hour dedicated to the couple! They bring photos or a Pinterest board, or have an idea of what they want. For instance, do you plan to wear a suit or a tuxedo? What color? From there they view styles and can choose the look for themselves, the groomsmen, and the fathers.
If you come in without a plan, you will be overwhelmed with choices.
Couples can choose to have the same suit or tuxedo for the groom and groomsmen, and differentiate by using accessory details, such as long tie or bow tie, tie color, pocket squares, etc. However, sometimes the groom wears a completely different tuxedo. It’s your day, it’s your choice.
Trying On The Tuxedo
The next step in renting a tuxedo is the full Groom Try-On. This gives you the chance to see your choice(s) in person. You can take pictures, and gauge how you feel in the tuxedos and various accessories that you choose. This is an easy appointment to set up by calling us about a week in advance so we can have everything ready for you.
Take Your Time
If you’re not sure after the try-on, take some time to view the pictures you took and talk it over.
Confirmation
Once you make your final selections, we will confirm your order.
Round Up Your Groomsmen
Now’s the time you tell the groomsmen, “Go get measured! Or else…”, and give your groomsmen a deadline to get measured.
Whether they are in or out of town, they can have their measurements easily taken anywhere, then gathered to one location. We use their zip codes to find stores who will measure in their area. We take about 10 minutes to measure so they are in and out quickly and painlessly!
Our sizing runs from 3B to 70 in most of our rental options while some styles are available to 80 to ensure the right fit for everyone.
The Arrival
Your rental items generally arrive the week leading up to the wedding and well in advance of your event. We notify everyone to come try on right away, so we have ample time to ensure the perfect fit should any adjustments be necessary.
The Big Day
Next stop, your wedding! Have fun, take lots of pictures, and share them!
