Twice a year, our full-time staff embarks on a journey to Chicago’s National Bridal Market to find the next season’s latest styles and store must-haves. This year, our Store Managers Daria and Sarah were joined by our new Director of Business Development Kylie. This event was two packed days of lofty tulle, dazzling sequins, matching veils, and all of the newest bridal styles.
With a clear vision of what our brides are interested in now and where that vision could be heading over the next year, we stepped onto the Market floor with a clear mission – bring home the best of the best!
Our days at National Bridal Market Chicago were spent visiting the industry’s top designers that we carry in our store. We also hunt for new designers and collections to bring in for our customers.
National Bridal Market – Day 1
We arrived on Sunday and went straight from the airport to W Merchandise Mart Plaza where the bridal show was already bustling!
We stopped by Kitty Chen to explore her gorgeous new gowns and chat with Kitty Chen herself. It’s always special when we get to talk to the actual designer about the gowns, fabrics, and design choices they made. If you know Kitty Chen wedding dresses, then you know she offers incredibly beautiful and dramatic lace trains and matching royal length veils. Her new collection continues to stun.
After checking out Kitty Chen, we bee-lined to Morilee to see their new collection. Morilee has made some really fabulous, best-selling gowns like Petal and Dominique, so we were really excited to see their Spring 2027 line.

We then went to Mon Cheri Bridal and watched Sophia Tolli’s runway show. Sophia herself was introducing her dresses to us! We took time to look at the new Mother of the Bride & Groom dresses from Montage and Cameron Blake, two designers that our customers love.
National Bridal Market – Day 2
Our second day at Market was just as busy as the first. We started at Watters to see their Locket (formerly Wtoo) line’s new gowns. Locket by Watters is always a collection that is fresh and unique. We were blown away! We are really excited with our selections from them.
Then we looked at some new Mother of the Bride and Groom lines to potentially bring into the store (wink wink!), and we found some gorgeous new veils that are definitely coming into the store.
After a quick lunch, we went to Madi Lane and Serene Bridal by Madi Lane. We watched their runway shows, and then we had the amazing opportunity to meet the head designer of Madi Lane, a lovely woman named Liz Young. Liz had her daughter with her who recently joined the design team– Madi Lane herself, the namesake of the brand.

From Madi Lane, we secured the best dresses from their upcoming collection called Renaissance for our brides. This new collection harkened back to an incredibly popular earlier season called Riviera. The sweetest designs with new trending features like lace sleeve wraps and bold lace patterns. From Serene, the Mikado, jacquard, and crepe are their signature go-to fabrics in sleek modern styles brides love.
Trends Coming… And Going
Spending this much time around the 2027 Spring wedding season dresses, we were able to get an idea of where brides are going to be heading with their style in the coming year. Some trends are going to stick around for a while longer, like:
- basque waistlines
- cuff neck
- cat-eye necklines
- 3D lace
But there are some modern twists to those trends heading our way:
- waterfall waistlines
- straight-across necklines
- beads and sparkle
Brides might be coming out of the ‘clean girl’ era and going back towards sparkles and lace; we saw lots of beading and lots of all-lace dresses. Vintage style lace and Chantilly lace are still having their moments. Trust me – we’ve got a little bit of everything for our brides!
Trusted Partnerships, Impeccable Service
We are so excited about everything we saw at National Bridal Market, the leading tradeshow in the industry. Being up close with the dresses, and meeting with our reps and designers ensures our partnerships with them are valued and solid. In turn, what we offer our customers is trusted with the highest integrity.
