Navy Blue “Easton” Double-Breasted Tuxedo for Weddings or Galas

Yet another navy blue tuxedo from Ike Behar, this one called “Easton”.  Except this time, we have a stately looking double-breasted version of a tuxedo.  Although this is a slim fit jacket, double-breasted jackets tend to be a little roomier and do a nice job at hiding some unwanted pounds. In fact, we don’t believe this is a good tuxedo jacket for someone who is overly thin.  It typically looks very good on larger men.

This jacket is made with luxurious super 120’s navy fabric, has a satin peak lapel, a double-breasted front, side vents and double besom pockets.

And of course the jacket comes with a matching navy vest, slim fit and skinny fit navy tuxedo pants.  Although the way double breasted jackets are designed, you do not see much, if any of a vest if one is worn.  Most of our customers do without the vest since it is not very visible on this type of tuxedo jacket.  If you intend to take your jacket off, say at the wedding reception, then we may recommend a vest so that you still look dressed up without your jacket on.

Double breasted navy tuxedo jacket. Satin peak lapel. White dress shirt. Navy satin bowtie. White satin pocket square.

Skinny Fit or Slim Fit Navy Pants

As with all of the other pants available with Ike Behar’s navy styles, there are matching slim fit navy pants and skinny fit navy pants.  While you could wear skinny fit pants with this tuxedo, we feel that slim fit pants are more appropriate since by definition, a double-breasted jacket has a more relaxed look and fit.  We don’t feel a relaxed-fit jacket would pair well with skinny fit pants.

Other Accessories

Ike Behar also makes a matching satin navy long tie and bow tie.  The ties’ textures and are a match to the satin lapel of the jacket.  Finally, the designer also offers a navy satin cummerbund.

Popular or Not

While we have rented this tuxedo several times, we have found that more customers prefer the black version of this double-breasted tuxedo: the Ike Behar Romeo.  The Romeo is the exact same as this navy one, except it is an all black tuxedo.

Alternative Navy Tuxedos

If you’re not a fan of double-breasted jackets, you are in luck. We have two other navy tuxedos that are single-breasted, or a standard looking jacket.  Take a look at the Ike Behar Blake or the Ike Behar Sebastian to see if those navy tuxedos would suit your style better.

We have a number of different shades of blue in regular and slim fit suits as well! Navy is a perfect choice for a wedding, business meeting, or as a guest of an event when you need the dress code requires a formal suit, but is not black tie (that would require a tux).
