Granite Grey Brunswick

One of our more popular Allure Men Brunswick tuxedos, this one is a darker granite grey.

We have offered this granite grey tuxedo for rent and sale for over 6 years.  With several thousands of rentals and sales of this tuxedo, customers have told that they are attracted to the ultra luxurious 130’s soft and lightweight comfort wool, its perfect fit, and the darker color. Any darker, this tuxedo would be classic black, however its dark grey color is sophisticated and classy.

Slightly different in design as some of the other Brunswick tuxedos, this one does have some satin on it.  The self-framed notch lapel has a quarter of an inch of contrasting black satin on the lapel, black satin buttons and satin lined flap pockets.

We always like wearing this tuxedo with the matching granite grey slim-fit pants and the matching vest.

What About Accessories?

With charcoal tuxedos, your options are really open as far as colors go. Since it is so close to black, it will match any color from the lightest blush to the darkest red; lilac to plum, pale yellow to gold. The formality is your choice, however with a tuxedo we advise looking at bow ties and pocket squares to match.

What Shoes Do I Wear With A Granite Grey Tuxedo?

When it comes to wearing a grey, tan, or blue suit or tuxedo, one often has the choice of brown shoes.  That, at least, is the thinking.  We however are opposed to wearing brown shoes with this tuxedo because of the black satin throughout the garments.  Wearing brown shoes with this tuxedo, in our professional opinion, would be similar to wearing a brown belt and black shoes. This certainly would be a fashion mistake.

There are times that we lean towards matte finished or patent leather (shiny) black shoes.  We believe either patent black shoes or matte finished black shoes bother look wonderful with this tuxedo.

If you are going for a more formal look, then we highly recommend patent leather shoes. If you want a more casual vibe, then choose matte black shoes.

Plenty of Choices With The Brunswick Collection

As mentioned before, Allure Men has made many variations of the Brunswick tuxedo.  Some of them have no satin on them at all but use clever stitching and fabrics to emulate a tuxedo style. The other Brunswick tuxedos that you may want to check out are called Cobalt Blue, the Sand Brunswick suit, and Shale Grey suit.

The granite Brunswick is a fashion-forward choice when you don’t want black but still want to stay in a dark color. It falls into the classic charcoal tuxedo category which is always a great look for formal events. If you are looking for charcoal suits (less formal than a tux), check out our steel grey “Dylan“. This is the perfect suit for a semi-formal occasion when you want to look sharp without being overdressed.

Either way, you have ample choice when it comes to Allure Men tuxedos. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about formal attire.  We dress thousands of grooms, groomsmen, fathers, grandfathers, ring bearers and prom-goers every year.
