Shale Grey Tuxedo By Allure Men For Wedding or Prom

This Allure Men shale grey tuxedo is called Brunswick.  When our brides and grooms touch this fabric, they can immediately feel the luxurious super 130’s wool fabric.  It is extremely soft, breathable and ultra comfortable. That’s just the beginning of what to love about this tuxedo.

The fabric also has a handsome subtle weaved texture to it.  The two button front has a quarter inch of satin edging on the notch lapel and satin lined flap pockets.  The buttons are also covered in the grey satin that adorns the pockets and lapel.

How To Wear The Shale Grey Tuxedo

We often find that our wedding parties wear the matching grey vest and matching slim fit grey pants.  The touch of color most often given to this tuxedo comes from the bow tie, long tie, matching pocket square and more often than not, brown shoes.

We’ve rented this tuxedo many thousands of times and only on rare occasions have we seen customer wear black shoes with the tuxedo.  Our estimate is that 80% of the grooms and groomsmen wear brown shoes with this tuxedo and 20% will wear matte black shoes with it.  Either way, they always look great.

This beautiful tuxedo is perfect for prom, too!

Shirts

We believe white shirts look best with this tuxedo for two reasons: any ties or bow ties are more visible on a white background and the white shows a cleaner look.  On a few occasions, we have had grooms wear an ivory shirt with this tuxedo.

Other Brunswick Options

Allure Men has created an entire series of tuxedos called Brunswick.  If this grey version is not exactly what you are looking for, you are in luck. There are other grey tuxedos such as the beautiful granite grey Brunswick.

If you aren’t sure about grey at all, look at our Cobalt blue Brunswick, Sand Brunswick, Mulberry Brunswick and Cornflower (light blue) Brunswick.  Each is quite similar but most of these tuxedos were designer with no satin on them.  Having no satin on a tuxedo is unique in itself so head on over to the other Brunswick blogs to see how the designer created something something different for a tuxedo. Any of these looks would be perfect for weddings or other formal events!
