Wedding Months
The most popular month for weddings in our region is still October, with September right behind.
For the most beautiful outdoor weddings with natural backdrops and magical golden hour photos, you can’t beat October. The Philadelphia region and Bucks County have some of the best venues for fall weddings (see below for some to consider).
November is a great option because the weather is still so lovely and families come home for the Thanksgiving holiday. The same holds true for the December holiday season, and the wintery weather begins. January and February been gaining in popularity as many couples love the winter wedding aesthetic and many venues offer nice price discounts and upgrades for off-season booking.
Let’s take at how you can incorporate these standout colors into your wedding color scheme.
The Different Vibes of Autumn
SEPTEMBER
September 21 is the official start of autumn. However, brides with end of the summer weddings still have summer foliage yet the weather is clearly changing.
If you are an early September bride, consider this pa llet to be perfection: lemon grass and Lyons blue.
Picture this: your groom and his men in our French blue suit against your bright, crisp white or ivory wedding dress. Your bridesmaids dresses in this beautiful soft shade of yellow. Add in some white florals with lush greenery and this will nail the seasonal aesthetic.

Or, look at a wedding palette that combines the colors of Primrose Pink and Damsen. These, including soft whites, blush pink, dusty rose and deep burgundy, work beautifully in your bridal bouquet for end of summer and early autumn weddings. You could have Sage green bridesmaid dresses or have the men in olive green suits. Green is always appropriate this season and will tie together your entire bridal party.
WEDDING COLOR TRENDS FOR FALL: OCTOBER
As October rolls in, the colors burst. The vibrant foliage in red, yellow, and orange allow you to add your own personal style. Look at Chili Oil, Branded Melon, and Hot Chocolate! Our chocolate Ike Behar tuxedo is made for this natural palette. Metallic accents in gold or copper – perhaps for your bridesmaid dresses – will give these warm tones a cohesive look. Your floral design could add shades of peach, coral, and espresso.

Lots of greenery will keep it grounded in nature especially as the seasons are changing. A dark green looks rich and lush when used as filler with vibrant colors and jewel tones. These colors are a perfect choice for autumn weddings.
A timeless look includes dark, but soft neutrals, giving a sense of warmth and timeless elegance. Think of natural elements like wood and a crackling fire, and stone. This will put together a color palette like evergreen, ochre, and amber. The men can be in Hunter, a deep green which is a very popular choice for groomsmen this year. The pop of color in amber is a great choice for the maids to keep in the cozy, romantic shades.

NOVEMBER/DECEMBER
Autumn doesn’t end until December 21. A late autumn wedding in November or early December will have the most perfect cozy and holiday feel as the fall season winds down. As the foliage is passed its peak and the crisp air has settled in, a romantic palette is a perfect way to celebrate your love story.
If you are looking to make a bold statement in your wedding theme colors, look at Poppy Red and Winterberry. These vibrant colors would look amazing against a black tuxedo. Always use different shades of greens throughout.

Add in a beautiful berry red in your floral arrangements. The perfect aesthetic of a festive and inviting atmosphere using the right colors for your end of fall wedding color palette.
