When it comes to detail, Kitty Chen never misses! To say the least, Jeanette truly has it all. From the illusion lace in the bodice to the petaled train, she is fabulous head to toe. Starting at the top, she has a modest, traditional, rounded sweetheart neckline, featuring a slight modern plunge that is the perfect transition into her unlined bodice. This bodice shows the corset boning, and makes the bodice a stunning focal point of the dress.
We recently had the opportunity to tour historic Chimney Hill Estate Inn in Lambertville, NJ and felt it worth a feature. This recently renovated property is absolutely breathtaking and can now also host weddings up to 100 guests.
Beautiful Chimney Hill Estate Inn
Originally constructed in 1820, it was redesigned and expanded by Margaret Spencer, one of the first female architects in the United States, in 1927.
In 2000, the barn was reconstructed into six luxury suites with amenities including gas fireplaces, modern bathrooms and kitchenettes, while maintaining the historic charm of a centuries-old property.
This B&B is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The first thing I noticed was the peaceful feeling on 8.5 acres of beautiful landscaping, mature trees, and stone walkways. It immediately felt like a calming retreat.
The Tour: Chimney Hill Estate
Firstly, this venue started with the barn suites. Fully renovated and each as beautifully appointed as the next. Some even have spiral staircases! Bright, welcoming, and calming, it certainly would be difficult to choose which room!

Moving to the main house rooms, the choice is just as difficult! From the first floor to the third, there will be a room that calls to you. I love historic properties and the quirkiness of their design, including all of the nooks and crannies, lean-tos, wood beams and floors, but coupled with modern upgrades like the stainless appliances, brand new bathrooms, and granite countertops it becomes the best of both worlds.

Ultimately, this is the perfect room to relax and unwind with an afternoon cocktail or a pre-dinner drink in any season, but I picture myself here with a hot chocolate in the snowfall. That would be nothing short of magical:
Chimney Hill Estate Bed & Breakfast
Of course, we cannot forget the breakfast part of a Bed and Breakfast! After a fitful night sleep, continue your relaxing weekend by starting your day with a delicious morning meal here:
This property offers so much more than just a bed-and-breakfast. They have anniversary packages, specials for Mother’s Day, even a sweet area for a marriage proposal or vow renewal and picnic after.
The best part is that they are now able to host weddings up to 100 people! Have the best day ever speaking your vows outside in any season with a reception celebration either indoor, outdoor, or both!
Overall, there are always events being held (like wine and cheese parties, a favorite!) and so many nearby attractions, Chimney Hill Estate is a venue with many lovely and unexpected surprises. This is a great idea as a gift for a couple, a weekend getaway, a birthday, anniversary, or graduation celebration, and can now even host weddings! Definitely worth checking out for yourself. Jennifer is a dress that everyone will fall in love with! She’s cute, flirty, and romantic. She has an airy natural A-line silhouette that will perfectly flatter and flow with the bride as she moves. Her bodice consists of a unlined illusion lace with slight boning for structure and support. She has a V shaped neckline with a small keyhole cutout in the neckline where the lace stops, making the dress slightly scandalous.
We’d love to feature our brides, and Kristin is certainly worthy of it! A lovely and full of life bride with an equally delightful family lived her dream of marrying her handsome prince Jeremy in Walt Disney World. We wrote about Disney Weddings several years ago and love seeing this in real life with one of our couples! Read their sweet love story below.

Autumn by Sophia Tolli will take your breath away– and your fiance’s! Stunning floral appliques, illusion detailing, and cap sleeves give Autumn an ethereal, fairy-tale vibe.Flowers and vines swirl around the bodice and throughout the skirt. A scattering of clear sequins interspersed within the appliques sparkle subtly without distracting from the intricacy of the lace pattern. The remarkable lace frames the V-shaped neckline and covers the dainty cap sleeves. The lace extends ever-so-slightly over the neckline, softening the look and adding an extra touch of romance.
This question will absolutely be asked of every bride to be. Wedding veils are an essential accessory for most brides, as they add a touch of tradition, elegance, and beauty to the wedding dress. There are seven different veil lengths and yours can be determined a number of ways as each length has its unique style and significance. In this blog, we will discuss the different wedding veil lengths to help you choose the perfect veil for your special day!

Phoebe’s beloved a-line silhouette is a comfortable, easy-to-wear shape. It hugs brides through the bodice and floats out with her dreamy, tulle skirt.
