Italian Brunomagli Black Marzotto “Tuscany” Tuxedo, Style 221

Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo is proud to offer this fine black tuxedo with peak lapel.  The tuxedo by famed Italian designer Brunomagli is made with the Marzotto stretch wool from the same family that has been making fine textiles and fabrics since 1836 in Italy.

The faille peak lapel and faille besom pockets are an interesting addition to this slim fit tuxedo,  Faille is a soft, light-woven fabric that has a ribbed texture to it.  Rather than having a smooth satin on the lapel and pockets, the faille provides some sheen with an added design of a straight-lined pattern or ribbing going across the lapels.  It’s truly something to see.

As with our other Marzotto fabric tuxedos, this jacket comes with matching black tuxedo pants and a luxuriously matching vest.  We recommend wearing it with the white Allure trim fit shirt and the matching black faille bow tie.  Instead of wearing a vest, you always have the option of wearing the matching faille cummerbund.  Wearing a cummerbund is truly an old school look but in this particular case, the faille pattern or ribbing on the cummerbund and matching bow tie truly pull the look together.

With a classic black tuxedo as stylish as this one, we highly recommend wearing patent leather shoes.

Who Is The Marzotto “Tuscany” Black Tuxedo Good For?

If you are looking for both a high class style and comfort, this tuxedo may be for you.  Most high end tuxedos are made of fabrics that are genuinely comfortable and soft.  However the Marzotto not only adds softness and breathability to the fabric but also stretches as well.  We have been told by customers that the fabric actually has “some give” when moving around in the tuxedo and you never feel confined by wearing it.  If you often feel confined in a suit or tuxedo, we highly recommend considering a tuxedo made with the Marzotto fabric.

To show how flexible and stretchable this fabric is, Marzotto gave us a small sign made with the stretch fabric wrapped around the sign.  The sign is located in our store and you can see and touch it for your self.

Variations and Other Options

If you are not a fan of a peak lapel, we also offer two other Marzotto fabric black tuxedos.  We have a slim fit version of a notch lapel tuxedo and a skinny fit version of the same tuxedo.  Both are called Antonio.  I personally think the Marzotto fabric tuxedo looks great in the slim fit version, however if you are looking for an ultra modern look, I highly recommend choosing the skinny fit version of the tuxedo.  The stretch fabric, despite the tighter fit, will always ensure perfect comfort and mobility.

Personal Experience and Story

As co-founder and co-owner of Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo, I have the good fortunate of being about to choose from over 60 different suits and tuxedos to wear.  Our oldest daughter recently had a beautiful New Year’s Eve wedding and I considered wearing a tuxedo made with Marzotto fabric.  At the time of the wedding, we had a slim fit Marzotto fabric black tuxedo with a notch lapel available for rent.

The wedding was a black tie affair, so all of the guests and the entire wedding party rented their tuxedos from our store.  I wanted to wear something different and not look the same as the groomsmen or other guests.  I waited to choose my tuxedo for the wedding because I wanted to make sure no one chose our Antonio tuxedo that I was considering.

Lo-and-behold, I saw in our order entry system that a guest of the wedding chose that exact tuxedo!

I certainly could have chosen it as well, however as the father of the bride, I truly wanted to stand out.  My wife, co-founder and co-owner of Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo, chose our Marzotto grey nail head fabric tuxedo with black shawl lapel for me to wear.  It went went perfectly with her black dress.

Ending Thoughts

I suggest stopping in the store to look at and feel the Marzotto fabric to see if it is for you.  You can also try on the jackets to get a true feel of the stretch fabric.  Just by seeing the tuxedo in person, you’ll know pretty immediately if this is the one for you.  The Marzotto Tuscany tuxedo is available for rent and purchase and ranges in size from 3B to 70L.
