Allure Men has always made very popular suits and tuxedos for formal events. About a year and a half ago, Allure introduced a denim colored tuxedo with a slightly more casual yet classy look.

actually captivated our brides and grooms and it became an extremely popular style for both renting and purchasing. In fact, it was the 5th most popular tuxedo and suit rented for autumn weddings so the numbers prove how popular!
When customers come into the store, they ask if the Allure Men Denim Tuxedo is made of denim. This is obviously before they see the actual suit on our mannequin. The tuxedo is not made of denim, rather a light-weight wool blend that has the color of denim. It is a two-button notch lapel jacket and has a matching denim vest and slim fit pants. The designer also offers a matching denim colored bow and long tie as a perfect match to the color and texture of the tuxedo.
Why a Denim Tuxedo?
So why do we think this tuxedo is so popular with our brides and grooms? Because the color and texture are different. When you first look at the fabric, it has a somewhat casual look to it. However, the wool-blend fabric has a luxurious and comfortable feel to it, along with some other details that will surprise you.
Tuxedo Details
Most tuxedos have satin on the lapel, pockets and buttons. This particular tuxedo has plastic buttons, similar to a suit and no satin. Instead, there is a stitching that lines the edge of the lapel that emulates a satin border, without having any satin. It’s essentially a quarter inch border stitched on the lapel to look like satin piping.
Many grooms and groomsmen who want to look formal enough for the wedding but not too formal strike an excellent balance with this tuxedo. The lack of satin, plastic buttons and more relaxed looking fabric provide enough casualness for the wedding party but don’t make it look like you are under dresses for the occasion.
Accessories
Brown shoes are a perfect match for this tuxedo. We’ve actually never had a groom choose shoes other than brown to wear with the Allure Men denim tuxedo. We have had wedding parties with a country & western theme who paired this tuxedo with cowboy boots. Several grooms and groomsmen have worn it with a brown or tan shade of Vans®.
