Is it too early to be poking around looking for 2022 wedding trends?
Nah! Never too early! We have already chosen many of our spring 2022 wedding dresses that will be arriving very soon and we will post pictures of those. In the meantime let’s talk colors!
From attending bridal markets and seeing first hand the new colors offered for maids (and other colors phased out), to listening to our own brides, to reading the blogs that I do from all over the country, here’s the scoop:
Warm tones are in! Colors like cinnamon, burnt sienna, marigold, and peach hues are super versatile and can be used for any season. Accent sunflowers with light peach in summer, while an autumn wedding is perfect with earthy rust tones. These tones are also very BoHo which is very popular with our brides!
Sand and nude tones are popular and have been for a few years with wedding dresses. Champagne hues are perfect for brides who don’t want a true white wedding dress, the underlay colors can make the lace patterns pop beautifully and still look very bridal.
Add a slate or sage accent color for a very romantic feel! Tan is also a great color for summer/beach weddings for the groomsmen attire!
Metallics are a big part of the 2022 wedding trends! Metallics always set off the colors beautifully and golds are very in. Pair with a dark navy for a very glam look, or copper accents with the color palette above to really make a statement! Metallics are also perfect accents when used for centerpieces, charger plates, candle holders, etc.
For the groomsmen/groomsmaids:
Check these other colors out! Hunter Green, Camel, and Mulberry are gorgeous choices to match the trending pallets:
Swap out the tie and pocket square with ivory for the groom and a marigold or a cinnamon color for the groomsmen!
While the pallet above may look very fall for our seasons here in Bucks County and the Mid-Atlantic region, the mulberry tuxedo works for any season! Consider just wearing the vest for an outdoor summer wedding paired with a blush or floral bowtie, or a beautiful merlot tie color for winter. The maids in wine or gold satin would be stunning!
As we get closer to the new year, we will add more thoughts and share more 2022 wedding trends! Also we can share what our brides are choosing for their upcoming weddings!
Happy wedding planning and we hope this gave you some good ideas!
