If you want to go for the glamour of a beautiful heel, do NOT get uncomfortable ones. It isn’t worth it. Make sure they are a good fit and have a good cushion insert (or add them!). You want to be steady on your feet and dancing the night away without hobbling around and wanting to kick them off.
If you are not used to wearing heels, your wedding day is not the day to start. Consider a cute kitten heel, flat, or even beaded ballet slipper. If you are used to them, go for it!

For consideration: Some brides have two pairs of shoes – one for the ceremony and one for the reception. If this is you and you are wearing a floor length gown, please consider this: if you hem your gown to a 4”-5” heel and then change at the reception into a flat, you are going to be tripping over your gown all night! You have the option of having the hem done somewhere in between which would make your gown short for the heel and long for the flat. It will never the correct skim-the-floor length. You’ll need to decide how to handle that alteration with your seamstress at your first fitting.
Whatever your style, the shoe is uniquely yours, whether you personalize the bottoms, switch them out, show them off!
