Featured Tuxedo – Ike Behar Charcoal Paisley Chase

Ike Behar has designed a second satiny tuxedo jacket with charcoal paisley patterns.  This Jacket has a black peak satin lapel, a one button front, side vented and double besom pockets.

Because of the varying gray and black colors throughout this jacket, we have had grooms and prom goers wear black skinny fit tuxedo pants, gray pants and ultra stretch black pants with this tuxedo jacket.  Both the gray and black pants blend in nicely with varying shades of black and gray in the tuxedo jacket.

Both our white and black microfiber shirts look quite nice with this jacket, so the choice is strictly up to you as to which shirt you’d like to wear.

In our experience, most customers, about 95%, do not wear a vest with this tuxedo jacket.  We agree that a vest is not necessary.

A word about wearing satin jackets like this one.  When renting a tuxedo like this, rental shops typically do not adjust the length of the sleeves.  Since the satin is a delicate material, continuously adjusting, hemming and using a commercial steering iron on the sleeves would ruin the satin.  Therefore, it is important to rent the correct length of jacket that will already have the correct length sleeves for your arms length.    Jackets come in short, regular, long and extra long lengths.  The jackets are typically one and a half inches longer or shorter between say a short and regular length jacket.  In addition, the jacket’s sleeves length will be longer or shorter.

At Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo, our fitting jackets have lines on the jacket by the hips and on the sleeves to indicate the length of the sleeves.  We place a fitting jacket on all customers and measure the sleeves to exactly where the should be to look proper.  In the case of a satin jacket, we choose the sleeve length that is most appropriate for the customer’s arm length.

This is quite a fashionable and classy jacket.  If you are looking for something with a pop of color, take a look at our Ike Behar blue paisley tuxedo jacket called Chase.  Otherwise, this more subtle paisley charcoal tuxedo jacket may just be the one for you.
