Featured Wedding Dress: June from L’Amour by Calla Blanche

Meet June

Designer: L’Amour

It all begins with her fit and flare bodice: she will gracefully hug and flow off of the bride’s curves in all the right ways! In her unlined bodice, there is a deep v-line plunge neckline that ties in perfectly with the side cutouts! Together, they enhance the flirtatious look of the dress while also keeping the bride comfortable.

Her bodice is then finished with beaded spaghetti straps that provide the perfect transition into the back without taking attention away from the bodice.

June by L'amour V-back

It is undeniable that the detail does not stop in the front! She has a gorgeous open v-back that goes all the way down to the zipper! The panels that create the v-shape consists of an illusion mesh with the lace from the skirt cascading upward towards the straps. Moving down the skirt, she is covered in a spectacular mini floral and vine beaded embroidery that extends down to the end of the glorious train. This train is also lined with a horsehair edging that will ensure the shape of the train stays in place all day long!

L'amour June lace train

L’amour makes June in three different color options, leaving the bride with another decision! These color options include ivory/light nude, ivory/latte, and ivory/ivory (shown in pictures). With both of the two-toned options, the lacing will be accentuated and pop off the dress, whereas with the all ivory option, the beading will sparkle and be a main focal point of this dress. Either way, a bride can’t go wrong!

She’s Great For: A destination wedding and warm temperatures. Her summer vibes would go perfectly with any tropical location that has beach or floral sceneries. Because of her detailing and fitted shape, a bride will not have to worry about wrinkles forming or excessive space needed during travel. She is also very lightweight despite the detailing which would be perfect for staying cool in warmer settings!

What Makes Her Special: Her ability to be so comfortable and lightweight for the bride while also being covered in head to toe detail! One thing that you can definitely say about her detailing is that it is not scarce, that’s for sure!

June keeps the lightweight comfort by only having a double tulle layered train instead of the dress lining extending to the end.

Also, by having all the cutouts and open back features, they give the bride some freedom to move around and have some airflow circulating to dance the night away. A spectacular choice with traditional features that will never go out of style mixed with some on-trend and edginess!

Featured Wedding Dress: Monica Loretti Style 8231

Meet: Style 8231

Designer: Monica Loretti

Why we love her: Monica Loretti crafted an absolute stunner of a gown with Style 8231. Everything about her is exquisite and feminine. Her beaded bodice, sparkly skirt, and illusion details come together to create something truly gorgeous.

This dress features an off-the-shoulder, illusion neckline. Flesh-toned mesh supports the top of the gown and flows into a romantic sweetheart neckline with long sleeves. Off-the-shoulder sleeves are highly sought-after by today’s brides, and the illusion mesh keeps the dress secure all day long. The bodice is decorated with beaded appliques on top of a layer of chantilly lace. The layer of chantilly lace adds depth to the gown, and the beaded appliques on top provide a splendid sparkle. The appliques are very nature-inspired; they are shaped like leaves and vines– perfect for brides getting married outdoors or looking to incorporate nature into their wedding day look!

The appliques adorn the bodice and the long sleeves of the gown, and they slightly extend over the waist line. Clear sequins stitched in the top layer of the bodice help add a gentle glimmer as well.

As is standard craftsmanship for Monica Loretti, the back of Style 8231 is just as incredible as the front. A line of crystal buttons down the spine hold together illusion mesh, where more beaded appliques lay across the back. The V-shape placement of the appliques create a slimming effect through the waistline.

The viney appliques cascade down the long sleeves, where the same crystal buttons that line the spine close the sleeves at the wrist. The sparkle of the gown, provided by the clear sequins and translucent beading, continues throughout the back of the bodice. The back of the gown is so incredible that brides will almost want to walk backwards down the aisle!

The enchanting appliques on the bodice drip down slightly past the waistline of the gown, which flows into a fairytale-esque skirt. The a-line silhouette is flattering on all body shapes and sizes, and it is super comfortable for long wedding days! A-line silhouettes are highly requested by today’s brides. Style 8231’s skirt has a dreamy layer of sparkle tulle in, giving her an ethereal and airy look. The skirt ends with a chapel-length train– the perfect length for brides who want a train but do not want to be weighed down by one.

She is available in cappuccino/nude/ivory (our sample color), or all ivory.

She’s perfect for: honestly, everything! But Style 8231 is a really fantastic option for brides getting married in spring or fall. The mesh long sleeves are a perfect element for transitioning climates, like the warming up of spring or the cooling down of fall. The viney, nature-inspired appliques allow this gown to fit cohesively with venues like arboretums and gardens, wineries, and refinished barns. 8231 is for brides who want to lean into their romantic, whimsical, and feminine side!

What makes her special: the most striking element of Style 8231 is the illusion detailing. The long, lacy sleeves appear off-the-shoulder in the most romantic and dreamy way, but they are secure on the bride because of the flesh-toned mesh holding them in place. Crystal buttons lining the spine and the ornate, naturey appliques appear to float directly on the bride’s back. It is these thoughtful details that makes Style 8231 by Monica Loretti a must-try for fall brides, spring brides, and every bride in between!

Featured Wedding Dress: Jolie by Casablanca

Meet: Jolie

Designer: Casablanca Bridal

Why we love her:
Jolie by Casablanca is a complete dream of a gown. Her sexy silhouette, unique lace detailing, and subtle sparkle are the epitome of femininity and elegance. All brides who love floral detailing should have her on their ‘must-try’ list!

Casablanca Jolie sweetheart neckline with plunge and 3-D lace

Jolie has a fit-and-flare silhouette with a structured bodice. She will hug brides’ curves while gently flaring out at the bottom– perfect for dancing and walking down the aisle. This silhouette is definitely a favorite of brides- it is alluring yet timeless. The strapless sweetheart neckline has a slight plunge detail. Boning in the bodice provides ample support up top for brides, making the strapless neckline nothing to worry about! The sweetheart shape allows plenty of open space for a special necklace or amazing drop earrings without them clashing against the gown. After all, accessorizing is half the fun.

Jolie’s lace detail is unlike anything else we have in the store. Chantilly lace is the first layer of lace on this gown; instead of a traditional chantilly lace pattern, the lace has a sweet floral design. Chantilly lace is a great way to add dimension and texture to a gown, and the floral design gives it a modern touch. The chantilly lace lies beneath a layer with bold, embroidered floral appliques. These floral appliques cover the dress from top to bottom; the consistency in the pattern flowing down the gown helps brides look taller.

And she doesn’t stop there; there is a scattering of 3D floral appliques that sit on top of the embroidered flowers. These 3D appliques bring the gown to life; in the center of the 3D flowers, there is delicate beading. This bead work, which is a combination of clear and silver beads, gives her a very fine but very elegant sparkle. The highlight of this gown is her distinct floral design, but every bride deserves a little bling!

As the gorgeous flowers cascade down the gown and into the skirt, Jolie gives brides another special element; there is a slit in the inner-most lining of the gown. This slit does not affect the chantilly or the embroidered lace layers. The slit allows brides to show a little leg and add a little spice while still remaining tasteful! And it’s the perfect excuse to get some seriously amazing shoes. She finishes off with a chapel-length train; this is the ideal length for brides who want a train but don’t want to be encumbered by something cathedral or royal. The bead work picks up more towards the bottom of the gown and in the train, giving it just a little extra sparkle!

She’s perfect for:
brides looking for something a little unique but still classically bridal and elegant. Jolie’s distinctive lace details makes her stand out against other gowns, but not in an over-the-top way. Her timeless silhouette and neckline will make her stylish for years to come, and her thicker, embroidered lace will photograph excellently. In terms of venues and seasons, the botanical detail makes her an obvious choice for brides getting married in the spring and summer times. She will look flawless at venues like golf courses, historic mansions, and wineries.

Casablanca Jolie

What makes her special: Truth be told, everything about Casablanca‘s Jolie is special! But one thing that sets her apart from other gowns in the store is the optional, matching over skirt that can be ordered! The matching over skirt goes completely around the bride’s waist, fully encapsulating the bottom of the gown. It turns this svelte fit-and-flare into a dramatic ballgown! The over skirt is layers of tulle and topped with more of the embroidered appliques and 3D flowers that are on the gown. Brides can get two looks in one while still keeping the main details and embellishments. The neckline, lace pattern, and color all stay the same, so brides will not have to worry about changing hair styles or accessories when going from the ballgown silhouette to the fit-and-flare. Jolie with her over skirt is perfect for formal ceremonies, while the gown itself is perfect for dancing the night away at the reception!

Detachable lace cap sleeves snap into the lining, and can be worn off-the-shoulder or on the shoulder for more support. The lace appliqués cascade down the multi-layer tulle skirt which is sheer AND has a peek-a-boo slit hidden under the top layer of tulle! She’s perfect for: This gown is the perfect fit for the non-traditional bride! Not everyone could pull off a bodysuit gown, but the brides who dare to try Natsuko end up falling in love. Her lace pattern gives the perfect touch of romance while the sheer skirt exudes a lightweight, ethereal vibe!

Brides find that the gorgeous Natsuko ends up fitting in perfectly at a variety of venue types. Due to her lightweight nature and the sheer bodice, she would be a knockout gown for a beach wedding! Heat has nowhere to be trapped in a gown so breathable, so the bride can stay worry-free and enjoy her festivities.

What makes her special: Her versatility – your options to customize Natsuko seem limitless! Many brides fall in love with the gown but worry that grandma may not appreciate seeing their legs on their wedding day. Fear not! Natsuko can come lined in the skirt to have the appearance of a traditional gown.

Want more structure in the bodice to help emphasize your shape? You are able to order the gown lined in the front! Her detachable cap sleeve can be worn off-the-shoulder, on-the-shoulder, or removed entirely for a fully strapless look.

Natsuko can be ordered in a nude color with ivory lace or full ivory atop ivory!

The lace on Natsuko does not frame the skirt which leaves brides the option of pairing her with a cathedral, lace veil! Her subtle shimmer also makes a beaded veil a gorgeous companion for the bride who likes a little bit of bling. The sweetheart neckline lends itself to the option of a simple drop necklace or some elegant drop earrings. The split skirt option allows for the showing off of the perfect shoes, too.

Blue by Enzoani’s Natsuko is the perfect gown to style and make your own! Put her on your wedding dress wish list to try on!
